Rangers legend Kenny Miller has been impressed by Uddingston's Alex Lowry after another impressive outing for the Ibrox side. The teenage attacking midfielder has been with Rangers' Lowland League 'B' team this season and marked his senior debut in the Scottish Cup against Stirling Albion with a goal.A Premiership bow against Livingston was his reward and Ibrox boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst handed him another chance against Annan on Saturday.Goals from Filip Helander, Fashion Sakala and Kemar Roofe sealed a comfortable 3-0 Scottish Cup fifth round win for the top flight champions.Lowry - who hails from Uddingston and graduated from Motherwell's Braidhurst high school - was subbed on after an hour and Miller took note of his performance. He told BBC: "We knew it was pretty much over as a contest when the second goal went in.“It has allowed Rangers to give more game time to some more players and Alex Lowry has shown some excellent touches.”Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
