This Morning fans were not about to let Holly Willoughby off the hook with a past promise she'd made about "licking" Phillip Schofield's face when Covid-19 restrictions had ended.

On Monday's show (February 28), the pair rubbed shoulders for the first time in ages as coronavirus restrictions across the UK were lifted by Prime Minister Boris Johnson last week.

Enjoying the moment, Holly, 41, and Phil, 59, shimmied up and down as their arms met side-by-side on the ITV programme. While the duo got familiar with being so close again, fans on Twitter couldn't help but point out that Holly had previously said she would "lick" Phil. One fans said: "Awww Holly and Phil within each other's air space at last.

When will you be licking his face though @hollywills?"Another added: "@hollywills @Schofe @thismorning lick his face!!! Please at last do it!"A third person wrote: "Didn't @hollywills say she would lick @schofe on @thismorning?"Eagle-eyed viewers had recalled a moment last year when Phillip told Holly to lick his face on the daytime favourite.Phil was seemingly given a warning by producers in his earpiece that he was too close to Holly who was sat on the extended sofa. The pair were not allowed to sit or stand next to each other and were also separated when presenting in the studio, due to the coronavirus pandemic. It was believed at the time that restrictions would come to an end on June 21, 2021 - however it wasn't known back then that different variants would later come into the mix bringing back the need for safe distancing.Readjusting his position on the sofa as instructed, Phil commented that he was too close as giggling Holly began to teasing him.As the show began, Phillip joked: "Oh God, I'm too close again.
