Tonight's Super Bowl may look pretty different from previous events, but it's still expected to boast a spectacular half-time show performance, no matter the results of the game.
This year it's singer The Weeknd's turn to dazzle America with his live-streamed performance, which will kick off around 1am UK time on Monday February 8.
The Canadian musician - Abel Makkonen Tesfaye - will wow audiences at home with a medley of his hits and could include I Can't Feel My Face, Save Your Tears and I Feel It Coming.
But despite the huge amounts of time and energy that go into staging the half-time show, none of the artists who perform it have ever been paid thanks to a little-known rule.
