The Chase star Anne Hegerty has always been open about her autism diagnosis, but has hit out at people who say she “battles” with the disorder.
She's known across the UK as one of the country's finest minds, and the ITV star isn’t scared to tell people how it is. Anne was diagnosed with Asperger's at the age of 45, and says that although her parents were "probably doing their best", her mother didn't understand her.
Asperger’s is a development disorder which can affect the way those diagnosed with the condition can behave – with social interaction being a difficulty.
