Naman Ramachandran U.K. broadcaster Channel 4’s Indie Growth Fund has taken a minority stake in London-based Paper Entertainment, co-producer of hit Apple TV Plus series “Tehran.”Paper Entertainment was set up by Julien Leroux to develop, finance and produce TV content in partnership with talent and producers around the world.
The outfit is co-producing the second season of “Tehran,” which is currently in pre-production.Leroux served as an executive producer on season 1, and struck the co-production deal with Apple, which was announced last year.Caroline Murphy, head of Channel 4’s Indie Growth Fund, said: “Julien has an infectious passion and drive and is committed to creating high-end, quality content.
