Aston Villa have become the second Premier League club in as many days to show their head coach the door, confirming that they have parted company with manager Dean Smith.
Smith, appointed Villa boss in 2018, has been axed following a run of five successive Premier League defeats, which included Friday evening's 1-0 defeat to Southampton at St Mary's.
