Sign up today for the best stories straight to your inboxA manhunt is under way after a suspect who was awaiting trial was released from prison in West London by mistake.William Fernandez was being held on remand at HMP Wormwood Scrubs as he awaited trial.The 24-year-old had been arrested and charged with sexual assault, indecent exposure and possession of a class B drug in April 2020, according to Metropolitan Police.Police were alerted to the prison's error that saw Fernandez released from custody on March 24.Officers searched the prison and in the local area, but were unable to find him.However, he was spotted on CCTV walking along Wealdstone High Street in north-west London.It is believed.
