Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

Good Morning Britain was forced into a major format change when senior MP Michael Gove failed to turn up to his interview.The ITV's flagship news show usually speaks to a government minister every morning - giving viewers the chance to hear about the latest changes in politics from the ministers themselves.However, host Susanna Reid and her co-stars Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins were left disappointed on Wednesday (February 2).

That's because Michael Gove, who is the Secretary of State for Housing, didn't appear on the show to speak to the anchors.The tory MP's absence certainly didn't go unnoticed though, because Susanna called out the politician live on air, with a sly snub that he wasn't 'brave enough' to face them.Making a passionate on-air plea for any ministers to come onto her show, she said she wanted "someone who is brave enough to face the music every morning".Co-star Adil Ray was baffled at the absence too, claiming that Michael Gove was a "robust" individual, hinting he thought he could handle himself in front of the cameras.Speaking on Gove, Adil said: "I just find it very strange, I mean Michael Gove of all people [is] quite known for being robust..."This is an opportunity to explain to the public, move the debate if you like, let's talk about what they're really elected to do, yet [he] doesn't want to come on national television on ITV, on Good Morning Britain."The show that is known to have a large amount of viewers in the midlands and the north, where they are trying to level up...
