A superfit firefighter who beat COVID-19 is preparing for an epic charity challenge later this month.Just a few weeks ago, Flora Johnston could barely empty the bins without gasping for breath after contracting the killer virus.The 22-year-old, from Galashiels, battled the illness for 26 days at home by herself.Thankfully she recovered and returned to her crew at Galashiels Community Fire Station.Elgin-born Flora explained she first began to show symptoms at the end of last month and contacted the Borders General Hospital.She said: “I got progressively worse, and had a few pretty bad days, so I called the NHS 111 helpline.“As I was still able to breathe well enough by myself, I was told not to go hospital, and instead continued to speak
