My Three Sons star Dawn Lyn is 'breathing on her own and opening her eyes' after surgery to remove a brain tumor left her in a coma, reports TMZ. The former child star - now 59 - shot to fame aged six as Dorothy 'Dodie' Harper-Douglas on the CBS sitcom's last three seasons, a role she played from 1969-1972. Last month it was revealed on social media by her former co-stars that Dawn was fighting for her life - with  Tina Cole (who played Katie Miller-Douglas) saying the star is now showing the first signs of recovery. Tim Considine, best known as a popular Disney actor in the 1950s and as the eldest brother on the hit series My Three Sons, has died at the age of 81.The veteran actor passed awayat his home in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles on Thursday, March 3, surrounded by family.His death was announced publicly by his son Christopher Considine, and then was shared on Facebook by his My Three Sons co-star Stanley Livingston. Tim Considine has died at the age of 81. Considine died Thursday at his home in Mar Vista, California, according to Disney.  Considine made his acting debut in 1953 at the age of 12 in "The Clown" and also appeared in the "Mickey Mouse Club" show "The Adventures of Spin and Marty." Tim Considine has passed away at the age of 81. The actor was born into an entertainment industry family.
