Democrats want an extension of those unemployment benefits through the end of January, and the House passed a $3 trillion bill in May that includes it.Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Monday met for more than two hours with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
