Steel Bull has had three teeth removed after he damaged them in the stalls before the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes on Sunday. The top juvenile hit his head as the runners broke away for the Group One contest at the Curragh and went on to finish seventh behind impressive winner Lucky Vega.
The winner of his two previous starts, including the Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood, Steel Bull was privately purchased by Classic-winning owner Chantal Regalado-Gonzalez ahead of his first run at six furlongs.
