Kid Cudi has hit back at his former friend Kanye West who axed the rapper from Donda 2 simply over his friendship with Pete Davidson. It’s no secret that Kanye, 44, isn’t a huge fan of Pete, 28, due to the Saturday Night Live comedian striking up a romance with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
Well bizarrely, Kid Cudi has been dragged into the messy love triangle with Kanye dramatically dropping the Day N Nite rapper from the upcoming sequel to his 2021 album Donda.
Announcing the line-up change, Kanye wrote in a handwritten note shared on Instagram on Saturday: ‘Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he’s friends with you know who.
We all speak in Billie language now.’ Kanye has since followed that up in a new post, stating: ‘I just wanted my friend to have my back the knife just goes in deeper.’ The Gold Digger rapper later shared a mock-up of a Captain America: Civil War poster with his and Pete’s face on either side and the tagline: ‘United we stand.
