mum of a young woman killed when her ex-boyfriend drove into a taxi at nearly 100mph says her family has not had justice.Paige Rice, 22, was the passenger in an Audi S3 when it crashed head on into a taxi inside the Queensway Tunnel in Liverpool, in the early hours of Sunday, October 17 last year.Merseyside Police initially launched a criminal investigation into a potential offence of causing death by dangerous driving, but the probe was dropped when it became clear the Audi driver, Callum Miller, 27, would not survive.Speaking after an inquest into their deaths, held at Gerard Majella Courthouse in Kirkdale, Merseyside today, Paige's mum Clare Rice described the moment she was awoken in the early hours of the morning by a police officer at their home in Solihull.
She told the Liverpool ECHO: "When I found out it was devastating, I could not believe it at first."I think I woke up the whole neighbourhood.
