Sianar release cover of Christmas favourite to beat lockdown blues

Sign up to the weekly West Lothian Courier newsletter for the latest West Lothian news and sport.A local band received a seal of approval from Chris De Burgh for their cover of his Christmas classic ‘A Spaceman Came Travelling’The five-piece band, Sianar, decided to record and produce their favourite Christmas song to help combat the lockdown blues, recording and filming their individual parts at home.The lead singer James McKay, from Armadale, produced the final version with the help of a handful of friends who got involved in the chorus, including West Lothian rocker Jason Sweeney, Ollie & Sarah from Falkirk band “Primes” and Bathgate Academy pupil and musician Bexter.The song racked up almost 50,000 views on Facebook in the first five.
