Ayrshire disabled lad has cleaned up his village despite being faced with horrendous abuse.Cameron McIntosh has battled bullies and broken glass to sweep round his home streets — making it more appealing and safer.Desperate for a job as a council cleaner — Cameron decided to take action after noticing areas of Dundonald falling into disrepair.His efforts over the summer have gathered plaudits from locals who set up a Go Fund Me to help raise some cash for a new guitar.But despite a heroic street sweep the 26-year-old who has Asperger's — a form of autism and dyspraxia which effects his co-ordination — has been called a “mongo” and “retard” by the same yobs responsible for smashing bottles.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download.
