A second coronavirus peak is expected in the new year and a new wave could overwhelm NHS hospitals and kill 60 people per day, it is feared.

Efforts to control the deadly virus could be thwarted by super-spreading clusters in places such as meat-packing factories, according to experts.

It is a case of good and bad news - two experts predict the number of new cases in the UK could finally drop to zero in July, but a separate model suggests Britain is likely to be hit by a second wave in early 2021.
