Sewage systems are being tested for coronavirus in a bid to track a second wave of the infection, scientists have revealed.

UK experts are developing ways waste water could identify local outbreaks without the need to test people for the virus. Sewage systems could also provide researchers with a picture on how the deadly bug is spreading, ITV reports.
