Laura's kidney is now helping someone else while another person's is in Frances, with the surgery a complete success.The mother and daughter went under the knife at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary in early September at the same time as the other couple after Laura underwent tests to see if she could cope with life having just one kidney.The kidneys were then flown to each recipient.She said: “My family will never be able to thank the NHS staff.
