Glasgow this week. It is understood the worker had to have his leg amputated after the freak accident as he was unloading materials at the Multiplex building site on Argyle Street around 9pm on Tuesday night.
The man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries after one a load fell on his legs when he tried to remove slings from a crane.
Police officers cordoned off the area but one city construction worker told the Record that the ambulance took some time to arrive.
