TUI cancels Turkey, Spain, Greece and Italy holidays sparking misery for Scots

TUI has cancelled more summer trips to destinations such as Spain, Greece and Italy amid ongoing traffic light restrictions.

The travel operator has cancelled flights to a number of holiday hotspots which had been scheduled for the remainder of this month - including some trips from Glasgow and Edinburgh Airport.

It has cancelled holidays including scheduled breaks to Girona in Spain's Costa Brava, Bulgaria, Sicily, Santorini and Mexico - with some trips cancelled until November.

It comes as Scotland and England is to allow people visiting from the US and the EU who are fully vaccinated against coronavirus to enter without the need to quarantine.
