Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has spoken about the potential ban over 70s face from Premier League matches. Reports have suggested the elderly could be banned from attending matches with the coronavirus spreading throughout the UK.
The Premier League banned handshakes ahead of matches this weekend as they look to limit the risk from the spread of COVID-19.
Those over the age of 70 are at the highest risk and they could be stopped from attending matches. Sports authorities and broadcasters will meet with the Government in London on Monday to cover various scenarios.
But Hodgson, 72, is not concerned that he may be forced to miss matches just yet. The Eagles boss said: ”I will wait and see in that respect.
