Football supporters may be able to return to stadiums in October, as part of a new government plan to ease the country out of lockdown.
According to a report from the Daily Mirror, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has drawn a five point plan to try and get the UK back to normal after the chaos caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Fans attending sporting events is part of the final point of the plan, which is expected to be set out by Johnson on Sunday.
The proposal would see supporters allowed to attend Premier League games in October, provided the country avoids a second wave of COVID-19.
