Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

mirror.co.ukRestrictions on public transport in parts of Britain are about to be eased, reports claim today. The UK Government now wants people to return to workplaces rather than stay at home as it says this will boost the economy.
But current guidance for England states people should consider "all other forms of transport" before using trains, tubes, buses and trams.
Face masks are compulsory on all public transport too. However, Boris Johnson has reportedly said everyone must go to regular workplaces "if they can". "I think everybody has sort of taken the 'stay at home if you can' - I think we should now say, well, 'go back to work if you can'.
