He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

People urged to avoid beaches this weekend despite latest changes to lockdown rules. As part of the government's three-step plan in easing the country out of the strict restrictions that were brought in back in March to help tackle the spread of coronavirus, slight changes were made to what people are now allowed to do.

As announced by the Prime Minister Boris Johnson, people are allowed to spend an unlimited amount of time in parks and other outdoor public spaces, where they can keep two metres apart from others who are not part of their household.

This can include spending time enjoying a picnic, sunbathing and playing sports - if it's with someone from your household. Another changes is that people may drive to outdoor open spaces
