When the UK government’s guidelines for lifting lockdown were announced last Monday, it was noted that hair and beauty salons wouldn’t open until July 4 at the earliest, and that date was dependent on each business meeting the strict Covid-19 safety guidelines beforehand.
In light of the announcement, a petition was created by a hair stylist shortly afterwards, which asks Boris Johnson to bring the salon reopening date forward by five weeks.
