The Tories' deployed yet another slogan in the fight against coronavirus today, leaving people either shuddering with laughter - or merely shuddering.
As Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden unveiled the reopening of gyms, nail bars, tattooists and more, he said it was now time to "work out to help out". "It's time to eat out to help out, to enjoy the arts to help out and to work out to help out." he added.
This followed Chancellor Rishi Sunak's launch of the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme yesterday - which was slammed as a 'dining-out discount for the well-off'.
And earlier in the fight against the deadly bug, Boris Johnson's 'Stay Alert, Control the Virus' slogan was mocked as vague and ambiguous.
