Asda has changed petrol for people making essential journeys

Earlier this month, Boris Johnson announced that people in England are now able to travel to different areas for exercise in their cars.

He also confirmed that some people are able to return to work if they are unable to work from home, but has urged the British public not to use public transport where possible.

For those with the luxury of owning a car, this means doing something a lot of us haven't done for several weeks - filling up fuel tanks.

So now, to make life cheaper for people making essential journeys and for those going to work, Asda has confirmed that petrol prices will remain below 100p per litre at every single petrol station during lockdown.
