Boris Johnson expects fans to be back in football stadiums from October in England, as he continues to ease lockdown measures.
Football was temporarily suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic and didn't return until 100 days later in June. Fans have been banned from stadiums since its return, but British Prime Minister Johnson expects this to change within the next three months.
On Friday morning, Johnson held a press conference to announce further easing of lockdown measures. He said: "From October we intend to bring back audiences in stadiums.
In a Covid secure way subject to the successful outcome of pilots." Additionally, Bowling alleys, casinos, beauty salons and skating rinks will all be allowed to reopen from August 1,
