But Evra, who made nearly 400 appearances for the club, is known for being a strong character and leader in the dressing room.
According to the Manchester Evening News , the 38-year-old didn’t appreciate being told what to eat during Moyes’ tenure at the club.
It’s suggested during one away trip, the Scottish chief urged players not to help themselves to the complimentary buffet. Evra, however, reportedly opted to scoff a bacon sandwich in front of Moyes.
