Sir Alex Ferguson wasn't a man to be crossed when it came to respecting the traditions of Manchester United. No-one would be spared the Scot's infamous wrath if they had failed to uphold the reputation of a club he helped turn into one of the biggest in the world.
Even the likes of United legends Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand had nowhere to hide when Fergie once discovered they had refused to sign autographs for supporters following a game on a pre-season tour.
Instead of stopping to give hundreds of waiting fans what they wanted, the entire United side slipped onto the team bus instead.
But Fergie flew into a rage when he found out and hauled them all off the coach after giving the superstars a taste of the 'hairdryer'
