Paul Gascoigne has revealed his brutal response to a letter received from Sir Alex Ferguson after rejecting a Manchester United transfer.

The Englishman burst onto the scene at Newcastle in 1985, scoring 11 goals in his last season at St James’ Park. This sparked a move from Tottenham for the forward – but it also saw the Red Devils try and swoop in for a move.
