They then took on Real Madrid in the European Cup final on Saturday night, but saw Vinicius score just before the hour mark to win the game for Los Blancos.Liverpool failed to convert any of the 24 shots they had on Madrid's goal at the Stade de France.
It leaves them having won just two of the quadruple they had been aiming for just a couple of weeks ago.Despite that failure, the Reds are still holding a trophy parade to show off the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
It was an event that was announced nine days ago following an invitation from the Mayor of Liverpool, Joanne Anderson, with rival fans now digging the news out to laugh at Liverpool fans."Liverpool trophy parade tomorrow yassss," one said.
