Rapper Kodak Black is planning to file a lawsuit against the United States Marshals Service for allegedly leaking a photo of him under arrest inside the Miami Dade Police Department last year.
In May 2019, the rapper was arrested at the Rolling Loud music festival after allegedly trying to buy firearms twice with falsified gun applications.
Once taken into custody, a photo of a handcuffed Kodak was snapped by a local police officer. It was then sent to a U.S. Marshal.
According to TMZ, Kodak's attorney initially assumed a Miami police officer leaked the image to a media member. However, an internal investigation determined that it was likely a Marshal who disseminated the picture.
