Queen Elizabeth II will not be returning to Buckingham Palace following her summer vacation at her Balmoral estate.The 94-year-old monarch will instead return to Windsor Castle, where she has quarantined with her husband, 99-year-old Prince Philip.

The queen, who is expected to be in London only for important engagements, will commute to and from the city. Queen Elizabeth isn't returning to Buckingham Palace following her summer stay at Balmoral Castle.Per People, the monarch isn't expected to return to her London residence for the foreseeable future due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, with social distancing guidelines still in place within most working environments.
