On Tuesday, the 93-year-old monarch wore large white gloves at a Palace event for what was believed to be the first time. Her Majesty's gloved hands sparked fears she would be taking precautions to avoid the spread of the disease, which has infected 85 Brits.
During the event she greeted more than 50 recipients with her gloved hands and was expected to be wearing gloves during future appearances.
But the monarch dismissed any fears of the coronavirus during her one-to-one audiences at her London residence on Wednesday.
