Meghan Markle and Harry given more gifts than Queen during Royal tours last year

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were showered with nearly 100 gifts during their 2019 tours, more than the Queen received that year, it has been revealed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son Archie was given dozens of presents during his first official overseas tour, everything from soft toys to a pair of dungarees.

They received 98 gifts in total, 79 gifts during the tour of Africa and 19 during the tour of Morocco. Archie was just four months old when he was scooped along for the tour of South Africa last autumn where his parents were given armfuls of presents.
