Playstation 5 shortage could finally be coming to an end this Christmas, as Sony has airdropped thousands of consoles into the UK.The company has chartered three huge Boeing 747 planes from South Korea and shipped more than 150 pallets of Playstation 5 consoles to Britain.The fast-tracked flights come after months of shortages which have seen scalpers sell PS5s to desperate gamers with hundreds of pounds of mark-up.

The airdrop will be a relief to thousands of shoppers this Christmas, as many different electronics are out of stock due to a global semiconductor shortage.
