A promising footballer, Declan Bingham, has sadly passed away.The Aussie soccer star has suddenly died in what’s being called a 'tragic accident.' The player's father, Troy, shared the news on social media, with the Erie Sports Centre, whose owner also died, sharing the information too.The father's statement read: "Rest in peace Declan Bingham and Sheldon VanDeventer.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I confirm the loss yesterday of my partner and my son due to a tragic accident. The impact is immense and we are busy dealing with the grief. " Declan had a bright future in football, having played for Australian side Magic United on the Gold Coast and also for The Erie Commodores in Pennsylvania.

Magic posted a heartwarming tribute to the player. They wrote: "Magic United would like to pass on our deepest condolences to the Bingham Family.

Declan Bingham tragically passed away in an accident.
