Jamie Horgan, 26, of no fixed abode but most recently of HMP Altcourse, was jailed for seven years and five months today (July 15) for his series of crimes relating to separate burglary sprees mainly in Widnes and Warrington and a stash of three improvised weapons found stowed in his cell, Liverpool Echo reports.
During a cell inspection on February 15 while on remand Horgan confessed to the guards: “I’ve done enough time, I know how it works - I’ve got a few pokies down the side of my bed”, Philip Astbury, prosecuting, told Liverpool Crown Court.
