‘Sound of Freedom’ Producers Angel Studios Set Rupert Evans and Ewan Horrocks to Lead WWII Limited Series ‘Truth & Conviction’ (EXCLUSIVE)

variety.comSelena Kuznikov Rupert Evans and Ewan Horrocks will lead the cast of a new four-part limited series, “Truth & Conviction,” for “Sound of Freedom” producer Angel Studios.
Based on a true story, the follows Helmuth Hübener, a teenager who led a resistance group with his two friends during World War II in Hamburg, Germany.
Evans will play Erwin Mussener, the SS Agent. He is intent on hunting down Helmuth, a young resistance fighter, who will be played by Horrocks.
Ferdinand McKay and Daf Thomas also join the cast as Helmuth’s friends and fellow resisters Karl Schnibbe and Rudi Wobbe. Horrocks has appeared in Netflix’s British drama series “The Last Kingdom,” which ran from 2015 until 2022.
