Covid reportedly caused major delays with the creation of her gown.The eldest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York wed Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at Windsor Castle on July 17 after their May wedding was delayed.

Intimate pictures of the wedding revealed Beatrice had worn a recycled dress the Queen had previously worn on public engagements.

It received praise from Royal fans but a commentator has suggested Beatrice may have been forced to wear the dress.Marlene Koenig told Express she believes Beatrice’s real wedding gown could have been "not finished" and "got stuck at designers" because of Covid.It meant the royal could “no longer work on it” and the Queen may have stepped in with this "lovely gown" that they were able to re-fashion.
