Princess Diana turn up to the ceremony with her dress full of creases. Speaking to ITV for a 2018 documentary called 'Invitation to a Royal Wedding', the highly-regarded designed explained how the ivory silk gown she had worked on with former husband David Emanuel, had creased when Diana was travelling.Elizabeth candidly recalled the moment she witness the Princess step out of her wedding carriage on July 29, 1981.

According to the Daily Mirror, the designer said: "We did know it would crease a bit but when I saw her arrive at St Paul's and we saw the creasing I actually felt faint".
