The Post Office has suspended all sales of travel insurance for the "foreseeable future" as the deadly coronavirus continues to attack large parts of the world.
As of Monday, customers will no longer be able to buy cover online or in branch until further notice. It follows Liverpool Victoria, Admiral, Churchill and Direct Line, who all pulled their policies last week, after the Government declared the infection a pandemic.
Others - including Axa - have now said you can buy cover, but won't get a pay out if coronavirus affects your trip. The Post Office said it has taken this difficult decision "as it is unfair to sell travel insurance products to new customers who may not be able to claim due to the Covid-19 pandemic".
