Hear'Say dominated the charts in the early noughties, releasing hits like Pure and Simple and The Way To Your Love. The five-member group were the invention of the TV series Popstars, which saw judges Nigel Lythgoe, Nicki Chapman, and Paul Adam manufacture a music machine of their own.
Made up of Danny Foster, Myleene Klass, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw and Noel Sullivan, the group rose to fame in 2001 with their debut single Pure and Simple.
Making history, the track became the fastest-selling number one single of the UK Singles Chart at the time. Less than two years after their formation, Kym Marsh left the group, leaving Johnny Shentell to temporarily take her place.
