A filthy Salford takeaway put customers and staff at risk through uncleanliness and dangerous machinery. Health officers found a catalogue of errors during a visit to Spice 2000 in Irlam last year.
The dirty surfaces showed a build-up of grease and food debris – meaning the premises had not been deep cleaned “for some time”.
Other issues included out of date food and cross contamination. Manchester Magistrates’ Court heard how owner Ghazanfer Ali took over the business in February 2020.
