By Rebecca Rubin News Editor, Online Disney has postponed the release of “Soul,” an existential animated adventure from Pixar, since movie theaters are still closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It was originally set to open June 19 and will now debut Nov. 20, 2020. The studio also announced Monday that “Raya and the Last Dragon” has been pushed back from Nov.
25, 2020 until March 12, 2021. With scheduling shift for “Soul,” there isn’t a major movie opening in theaters until the end of July.
Last month, Disney shuffled its release calendar for most of its upcoming films — pushing “Mulan” to July 24, “Black Widow” on Nov.
