Director Yann Demange has exited Marvel Studios‘ long-anticipated reboot of Blade, Deadline has confirmed.

The cast of Marvel's highly-anticipated Blade reboot is starting to come together, with The Underground Railroad star Aaron Pierre coming aboard.The 27-year-old South London native has signed on for an important role in the reboot, though no details about the character were given, via Deadline.While nothing about the role was revealed, it is said to be one of the more coveted roles in Hollywood, with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and Blade reboot director Bassam Tariq seeing dozens of actors for the role. EXCLUSIVE: Krypton alum Aaron Pierre is set to co-star opposite Mahershala in Marvel’s new Blade pic starring Ali as the iconic vampire hunter. Delroy Lindo is also on board with Bassam Tariq set to direct. It is unknown who Pierre will be playing in the film. Stacy Osei-Kuffour is on board to pen the script with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige producing.
