The first American tour by the group, collectively known as the Smile — and not to be confused with Greenwood and Yorke’s other group, Radiohead — has been set for late fall.The trio’s shows in the U.S. will all take place in mid-sized theaters, beginning Nov.

Radiohead have shared a playlist of ‘The Bends’ B-sides and remixes in celebration of the album’s 30th anniversary.Produced by John Leckie, ‘The Bends’ was Radiohead’s second album and helped propel them to even greater heights. It marked their first time recording with Nigel Godrich, who has worked with them on every Radiohead album since.Some of the album’s B-sides include ‘India Rubber’, ‘How Can You Be Sure?’, ‘Bishop’s Robes’, ‘Talk Show Host’ and more.

Radiohead first toured the country in the mid-1990s and Greenwood married Israeli visual artist, Sharona Katan. Now Greenwood is pairing with acclaimed Israeli singer Dudu Tassa for a collaborative album, “Jarak Qaribak,” which is due out June 9 from World Circuit Records. The album’s debut track, “Ashufak Shay,” which loosely translates to “Your Neighbor in Your Friend” and features Lebanese vocalist Rashid al-Najjar, dropped last week. Produced by Tassa and Greenwood and mixed by Nigel Godrich, “Jarak Qaribak,” is a celebration of multicultural talent, bringing together singers and musicians from across the Middle East, including Egyptian vocalist Ahmed Doma, Palestinian vocalist Nour Freteikh and Safae Essafi, a singer from Dubai. There are songs on the album from countries such as Algeria, Jordan and Morocco.

Pavement have announced a 30th anniversary reissue of their debut album, ‘Slanted & Enchanted’.The 1992 album came out 30 years ago earlier this week via Matador Records, and comes ahead of the band’s live reunion this summer.The new reissue, set to come out on August 12, will see the original LP released on red/white/black splatter vinyl, alongside a cassette edition titled ‘Courting Shutdown Offers’, which features demo versions of the album that the band used to shop the alnum to record labels.The band’s latest reissue follows the release of ‘Terror Twilight: Farewell Horizontal’, a special reissue of their final studio album ‘Terror Twilight’. Arcade Fire have spoken about Peter Gabriel and Father John Misty‘s contributions to their upcoming new album, ‘WE’.The Canadian band are due to release their sixth studio effort on May 6 via Columbia Records. It was produced by long-term Radiohead collaborator Nigel Godrich along with the group’s Win Butler and Régine Chassagne.During a recent interview with the Montreal Gazette, it was noted that Gabriel contributed to a dance-orientated album track called ‘Unconditional II (Race and Religion)’ on which Chassagne takes the lead.“[Gabriel] came to the studio and we had a day to work on it,” Butler told the outlet.
