Morecambe is preparing for the much-anticipated arrival of the Eden Project - with business and locals hoping 2024 will be a key period of regeneration in the bay.

An Antiques Roadshow guest was left 'shaking' in disbelief after a wine glass she bought for just 50p turned out to be 300 years old and worth a fortune. In the latest instalment of the BBC show, members of the public attended the Eden Project, with one woman bringing along a glass her father had given her. She explained to expert Andy McConnell: “It belongs to my father, he saw it on a bric-a-brac stall, they wanted 10p, my father liked it so gave him 50p." But further investigation revealed that the glass was actually incredibly rare, with Andy sharing its origins.
